I went to work & was on break & I heard people talking about airplanes crashing to the twin tower, no the pentagon,no the twin tower, no in Pa. So I went out of the breakrooom & ask what was going on,a lady told me everything not knowing that my daughter is a flight attendent for Delta Airlines. I ask what airline was it? She didn't know. My daughter left for work early this morning. I called my son-n-law at work,I ask did you see the T.V.? He said yes. I ask where was Valerian? He said She was in Altanta. He talked to her she was O.K. The fear was really bad. I didn't get to talk to her until 12pm because the phone lines jamed. Our hearts go out to those who lost love ones. My son is a firefigther in Leland N.C. I don't miss a chance to know were my family is or to let them know that I love them. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I try to keep up with my family & let them know I love them. I give extra hugs,& phone calls. Life is to short to miss anything. I visited my daugther & took her some medicine because she was afraid to leave the house. So I listen to her talk as she was trying to make up her mind of what she was going to do. She didn't give up her job because she didn't want the terriorist to win. So I PRAY & trust in the Lord. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The USA is strong. We will not be shaken. We stand firm. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes. It is more important than ever.I gave out flags to everyone at work,because there was a shortage of flags. I also put little flags in my yard & flags on my door, also on my car.
