NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. It was about 8:20 A.M. and I was in my algebra class. I didn't know anything about the attacks at that time. Then when I was in my 4th period class around 10:20 A.M. I was in my engineering tech class when one of the administrators walked into the room and whispered something to my teacher. I overheard him saying that a plane crashed into the world trade center. My mind told me that it must have been an accident .... But I knew it was not at the same time. The principal spoke on the loudspeaker of a plane hitting one of the World Trade Centers. He told us that was all the information had at the moment and that we were not allowed to turn on the TV's in the class room. At about 1:00 P.M. I walked into my woodshop class and the TV was on. Then I heard that the second tower was hit with a plane also. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has not changed that much. I haven't gone on any planes since the attack though. But it affected a person who lived close by to me and their whole family. A family that lived by me had a husband that worked by the World Trade Center. After the attack his wife and two young kids didn't hear from the husband for 2 days. He came back on September 14th and said he saw the towers fall down and the second plane hit the building. Luckily he survived, but like many others he was their to whiteness it all. I think we should all remember how instead of tearing our country apart... The attacks made us stronger and brought us closer together. Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? On the back of my dad's car there is a huge American flag window sticker covering the back windshield.
