NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. The way i witness September 11th was mostly on the news. I remember waking up that morning like any other day for school. I went to my parent s room and my mom was watching the news and she was in disbelief. When i started watching it the first plane had already hit. I really couldnt believe it myself, even though i really didnt know what was going on. My mom said it was a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. I had to get ready for school so didnt see much of the rest. But when i went to my friends house to go to school, her mom and her didnt know anything about it. So we all turned on the tv and they also couldnt believe what had just happen. At school i guess it was just a normal day, but in a few classes we did watcht the news and also talked about it. The days after at school we had a few things deidicated to September 11th. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I dont think my life has really changed in many ways. I mean of course it has in a few ways but not in big ways. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think the things that should be remembered are all the people that died in The World Trade Center and also the Pentgon. Also everyone who helped after the attacks and of course everyone that is and were in the middle east fighting for our country. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes my family and I did. I think my feelings have changed about the American flag, i have more pride in being an American.
