NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. On the day that the trageic events of September 11 occured i was at home preparing for just another normal day of junior high, but that day was anothing but normal. I had woken up that day groggy and tired like any other day and i vaguely heard something about a plane crashing into a building from my mom. I was only 14 at the time and i thought nothing of it. Planes crash occasionally and, living in the city, it was no surprise to me. It was about the time that i reached my junior highschool that i realized something was wrong. Wispers filled the air and i did not know why. It was till my friend told me what had heppened tha i realized the magnitude of it. It did not fully hit me until the next day when news about the crash was all over the tv. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Septemeber 11 and the events that occured on that day has undoubtly changed my life. It showed how brave people really can be. It made me realize what firefighters sacrifice to protect us. It has also showed me how united and patriotic people can be after a tragic event like those that occured on September 11, 2001. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? What i think people should remember the most about Septmeber 11 is how strong and prideful people can be of their country. The events of September 11 made people realize how lucky they are to live in America. After September 11 American flags were everywhere and even on cars, but as the months and years past they seem to have been put away for storage. I don't think that an event like September 11 should be what makes people realize how lucky they are to live here. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? After September 11 I did put up a flag infront of my house.
