NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. It was a normal school day. It was in the beginning of geography when our teacher rushed in, her face white. She ran to the TV and turned it on. There it was on action news. We saw the first tower burning. We all gasped and one kid asked,"Is this real or is this a movie? It is real" she replied. Suddenly, we saw a small dot flying towards the second tower. Then there was a huge fireball at one side of the second tower. The reporter said that a plane had hit the second tower. Everyone started talking. Then we watched the towers crumble. That is how I experienced September 11th. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes, my life has changed because of September 11th. I respect the flag more and I realize how lucky I am to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Before September 11th I had taken for granted how much we have here. That is how my life has changed. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think we should remember how bravley the firefighter rushed in to help the people get out and how bravely the people on the flight that crashed into the cornfeild. The people on that flight overuled the terrorists and did not let them crash it into another important landmark. Also how everyone came together to heal and mend after the towers collapsed. Yes, my family bought tiny flags and put them all over our lawn and bought on big out to hang in frount of our house.Yes, my feelings have changed about the american flag.
