NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. On September 11th I was in math and we began to watch it on tv. But then the principal came around and told the teachers to turn the tvs off and not talk about it because they didn't want to upset anyone who may have had someone in the buildings at the time. So we weren't allowed to talk about it till we knew that noone had someone in the buildings. But then we talked about it and I was horrified and very upset. I couldn't bare to think that people at my dads level in the Port Authority had gone back into the building to save people. It was so upseting. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has changed by the fact that I knew that the New York skyline was changed forever. It was horrible to think of that. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think that September 11th should be remembered in full it should be remembered as what it is just like the Holocaust it should be remembered so that it never happens again. and that we know it will never happen again and to try and just remember the postives that came out of it. we are more united as a nation now. and we are also working more on protection.
