NMAH Story: Story
I was working at the Nasdaq Stock Market. We watched the second plane hit in real time. Nasdaq has live feeds from the MarketSite running all day long.
After the Pentagon was attacked I left the office to go home. It was very eerie and quiet except for the military helicopters flying overhead. The main roads were virtually deserted, it was one of the fastest commutes I've ever had.
My husband saw the Pentagon smoke from his office in Arlington. His building was under "lock down" but he was fine. I was worried he wouldn't make it home from there but he did.
I was also concerned for the safety of some of my friends and former coworkers at Thomson Financial in NY. So I spent the rest of the day trying to contact people through email and by phone.

NMAH Story: Life Changed
I will no longer fly. Just not worth it.
NMAH Story: Remembered
Everything.
NMAH Story: Flag
We are flying the American flag and will continue to do so forever. God bless this great country and may we all learn to live in peace.
