I was in 1st period, English class, Ms.DeBonis was my teacher, my gym teacher Ms. Zolo ran in the class room and said "OH MY GOD! TURN ON CHANNLE 5, THE WORLD TRADE CENTER WAS JUST HIT WITH A PLANE!" I went into shock, I couldn't speek,I just went blank, knowing, that my step-father Lt.Robert Cirri of the PAPD was there...I just knew he was, something just told me, like my gut feeling was telling me that he was there,I couldn't speek I just.. cryed and pointed to the tv..and then I couldn't take it, and screamed"WHY, WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE THERE! HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE!" and everyone look at me like I had 5 heads or something,then I said "MY FATHER! O MY GOD!!! WHY WHY WHY, WHY IS HE WORKING THERE?! MY FATHER IS AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER!!" I witnessed the second tower beeing hit from my school window...I'll never be the same again. Yes, I mean, my dad died that day, he was my best friend.He wasn't even supposed to be there, he worked for the PAPD Training Academy, he was working in Jersey City,NJ, and he heard what happened, I geuss he had to help. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think we should not only remember the police officer and firefighters as heros, but all those that survied and are still strong today, the people that where just lawyers, hotdog vender peple, everyone that is keeping there heads up high, and getting threw this one step at a time... it may take a few years to cope with this.. but, everyone will be strong and stay strong... intil they die and also know that,we should remeber those children who where on those planes.. and those children who wake up everyday sadened because we know we wont see our dad's that day, and that we wont see them for a long time to come, I'm 14 now, its going to take a long time for me to see my dad again, and thats whats so sad....that I'll won't see him agian... until.. We have American Flags all over my lawn, I've always had respect for our flag, but now, i think it has more meaning, I honor it with more feeling then ever now.
