I woke up the morning of September 11, 2001, turned on the TV to watch the local news. What I saw was unfathomable, it couldn't be happening on American soil. I woke my husband and said to him "we are under attack". The images I saw will forever be imbedded in my memory, the tears never ending for the souls lost that day.

I am a Canadian citizen, my husband and children are Americans. I have never been more proud to have American Citizens as my spouse, and as my children. Our flag (American) has flown every day since Sept 11th, and will continue to do so, with pride.
