NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I was actually in my Pre-Calculus class when it happened. We didn't have a T.V. it there but I heard about it in the halls after that class got let out. My friend Bradley said that a plane had flown into the World Trade Center Building. I couldn't remember right then what the buildings were, and I figured that the planes were just cargo planes or something. So I wasn't so worried. When I got to my next class, we listened to the radio the entire time as the event unfolded. I think that the scariest time was when they were saying that there were still a bunch of planes in the air unaccounted for that might possibly be hijacked. They were also saying that Houston was very a very likely next target- also, there was a rumor that a plane was going to hit the white house. My class after that was history and we watched CNN. And after that was Computer Science and our teacher let us surf the news sites on the internet to find out what had happened. My mom didn't feel like cooking, so we went out to dinner that night. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I would like to be able to say that it has inspired me to live for the moment more, but I can't honestly say that I really do. My life went pretty much back to normal rather fast. I am on colorguard at my school, and that Friday we still had a football game and performed and everything. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? All the people that died and how America really needs to watch our back becuase so many people out there really this country. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, we did, but somebody stole it.
