A student came in late and told me about a plane crashing into a building. I went to a teacher's classroom and we turned on CNN and found the most disturbing news we had ever heard. For days the only thing on my mind was the people of our country that had lost their lives. It was a trying time in America and in every household across the country were people like me trying to reason with the entire incident. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I think all people in the United States have changed. I do not take any day for granted. We never know what can happen in one given day. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The unity that America felt after the devestating day should never change. We never know when we will need our neighbors again. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes! I have flown the flag each day eince September 11. The flag has always given me pride to call America home. Now it just reinforces my feeliing.
