Let me tell you that I am a foreigner my family and me were on vacation on Orlando Florida, that day I got up early and went to a Big K store to buy candy and small thing to bring as presents, When I was passing by the electronics all were showing the first tower struck by the airplane. Being a tourist the only thing I could possibly imagine was that it was a new movie. Suddenly, I saw when the second airplane hit the tower and then came concious that those were the twin towers and it was not a Movie, I took my wife and headed back to the resort and at this time the theme parks were ordered to leave and witnessed the terror on the peoples faces and the cars rushing by the I4,then the radio swiched to emergency broadcast, and I tough that we were in the middle of a WWIII. Then the malls were ordered to close and all people were in the hotels, and we were glued to the TV sets waiting for instructions, suddenly the telephone rang and we were invited to the lobby to coffe and Donuts!!. A week after we made it back to my home country, I do not have nothing but praise to the good american people that help us, let us stay on the hotel for free, this fine gentleman from American Airlines without his help we might as well be still stranded in MIAMI international. Oh!, yes befor sept. 11 Ithought that America was invulnerable no one can touch her, this is a hard thing to understand. One come to revere a place so beautifull like USA, and is a sad thing to have someone wnting to destroy everything. I gave blood to help. On september 13 a Security officer in a Mall came to us to sell a tiny red,white and blue ribbon, for a dollar, when the gentleman realized that we were not americans politely backed up and leave, my sons looked at me and I stoped the man gave him the dollar and gave us 4 ribbons, I still carry mine on mi wallet, I might not be a US citizen but I cherish what america stands for. Thank you for the oportunity to say this even though it happens three years ago.
