NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. My housemate called me,woke me up out of a sound sleep,saying that we were being attacked. I am a volunteer Tn State Guard military personel and I took this as my housemate pulling a joke on me. She said no! that she was not joking, so I got up and turned on the TV. I turned the TV on the channel I usually watch and what I saw, I had thought that I was watching a movie not thinking about what time of day it was; I work 3rd shift and therefore did not realize it was still morning. I honestly thought that I was seeing a movie so I changed the TV channel and there I saw the same thing!What I saw was the 2nd plane hitting the building but I still wasn't sure so I changed the TV channel to the 3rd channel. I could not believe what I was seeing!!!! I was stunned!!! Then the 3rd plane, and then the 4th! Then, as a military person, I really started to get worried! Needless to say I didn't get sleep for the rest of the day. I was awed, stunned, mad and angry!!! Words could never express the way I felt that day. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes! This has changed my life! Especially about foreign people from that part of the world. Terrorist will always be there but I never dreamed that they would succeed after they tried to bomb the WTC a few years back. It makes me want to pack all these people up on a plane and send them back where they come from !! You know it's bad enough that our own citizens comit acts against us but for the others to be able to do this kind of destruction to us. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The people who died!! They are all heroes not just the rescue, fire,and police personel Not to mention the familes that are left behind and families that were torn apart over this. This ought to be the history that changed the way we feel, live and work and always watching over our shoulder. This will change the way we feel about letting foreigners into our country. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? YES !!!!!!!! I fly the American flag even more so now with pride because I AM proud to be an American!!!! I am proud that the American soldiers are fighting all over the world to get rid of the leaders of these ugly animals that take lives because they don't have the courage to face us, face to face and fight an honest fight. Terrorist are cowards and animals of the lowest form of life. My heart goes out to ALL of the soldiers who are fighting terrorism and my heart goes out to the families who sacrifice for the rest of us to keep our freedom! GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!
