I was in my classroom 2nd period and we were watching Channel One, a show that tells whats happening around the world, and all of a sudden two planes crash into the twin towers. Me and my classmates were just stunned we couldnt beleive it no-one said a word. We all just sat there watching the television. Some of us went on with our day and ascted liek nothing happended, but in reality we all new what had happened. It was very emotional for many of us. Some of us had relatives that lived in New York and it was very emotional and scary. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. i really dont have any family members that live in New York but i some of my friends did and i could see how badly they were hurt. It made me think twice about my life , and how safe we thought we were. I was just grateful to have a family that loved me and cared about me and was safe. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? That we all should be more grateful of what we have and just live life to the fullest. I will always remember that day. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? We went home and dusted off that old american flag and put it up. We watched it for awhile and then me and my mom and dad and brother and sister went inside the house and all sat down and talked.
