NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I was on a flight enroute from Tampa FL to Charlotte NC when the hijackings took place. We landed and I had made it to downtown to my office before I knew anything. We watched the events unfold on a TV in our office. We were sent home which to me was a hotel in Charlotte. No restaurants were open and I had to deal with the events alone. I rented a car and 2 others from Florida shared the car with me and we drove home on Thursday. I was getting married on Sept 29th and it had little or no affect on those traveling in to participate in our wedding. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I fly every week and my life is certainly affected by security at the nation's airports. It affected our honeymoon plans by changing them from Paris to a cruise. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? That this country had better refocus its attention back to God. We were punished on 9/11 for our rejection of God. To make matters worse we turn around and make the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional because it has the word "God" in it within the year.
