NMAH Story: Story
When I found out about September 11th I was in second period. It was Social Studies and he had the tv on. It was a tragic time for all of us. I knew right then what I was thinking where is all of my family, are they all ok, are any of them flying anyway today. That day September 11 is my dads birthday. Usually he his gone on his birthday. I was so happy when I remember he was at home. When i got home i had a new appreciation for things. I felt my hole life saying I want this I need this was a waste or pointless I should appreciate the things I have. Now I live one day at a time one minute at a time and dont take anything for granite.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
I think my life was changed so much. Before September 11 I thought that the American flag was meant only for the Fourth of July. I never thought anything of the American flag. When we stood and said the pledge I felt nothing thought nothing. Now when I hear or see all of that I think of that day when millions and millions were killed. I think go how lucky I am to be alive. I think it is very sad that it took such a tragedy like this to bring us together as a nation. We should have been together before this but we werent.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think there is a lot to be remembered about September 11. We should remember about our pride to be free. We also need to remember the bad things that happened that day. We need to remember the millions that died that day. That the twin towers are gone and it wont ever be the same. When we remember those tragic things it will bring us together again.
NMAH Story: Flag
After September 11 we always fly our flag. I think the flag shows our pride as Americans to be free. Before I thought the flag was for only the Fourth of July. I kind of thought it was tacky. Now it has totally changed my opinion. I think when every we see the flag most of us remember that day.
