Until I turned on my TV and as I was watching MTV, breaking news interrupted and I saw 2 air planes crashing into the 2 buildings and I didn't know what to think from there. I was shocked and as you see people try as hard as they can to save their own lives it is devastating for you to be at home watching people risk lives. And all i can hear was people screaming and yelling "oh my god." I had too many questions in my head, I started to tear up because I had no one to talk to it about, but just myself. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My has changed a little bit since September 11th. I learned how to appreciate life more and to watch out where to go. It can happen again anytime and anywhere, It made me appreciate my Family more because I had a lot of questions. What happend if my family was there for a family vacation? What happens if i was there at that moment on top of the building? NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think we should remember all the brave fighting soldiers, fire fighters, and policemen that risk their own lives to save other people. We are all human and they're just like us, they were doing part of their job. Saving people and trying to get them to safety. It took away their lives and souls, and that's one of the most important thing to some people. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? No, I didn't my family wasn't very patriotic. All I can do at that time was pray to God to make things better. Later on my family stuck an American Flag on their car just like everyone else. It made me realize that saying the American Anthem means something more than just words. It's teaching us how to show pride for our country, now I know what the meaning of the flag is.
