I was at Hermitage Technical Center and I had heard that a plane had hit the first twin tower in New York. THe only part of that sentence that I had clearly heard was New York. Now being from New York I got really scared and freaked out. I have most of my family in New York. After calming down after a few seconds I realized it was in NYC, I am from NY State, but still I knew that my cousin was living in NYC with his wife. They lived 8 blocks from the World Trade Center. They were supposed to go into work that day burt called in. Thank God, their work was a lot closer to the World Trade Center. It is a terrible thing that our country had to go through this, but at least it has made us stronger and we have united even more. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! I have 2 flags in my bedroom window. I have one I recieved from a baseball game, and I also have one of the sticky ones you put in your car. I believe the American Flag symbolizes our American pride and it's nice to see them all over the placr. It is sad though that something like this had to happen in order for everyone to have their American Flag up.
