Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I woke up that beautiful morning and got ready for another ultrasound. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with my twins. My husband & I got in the truck and left. We put the radio on and heard the DJ's speaking of a plane that hit the Trade Towers. At first we didn't believe it. But than we had to drive to a point in our town that we were able to look rite over to NY and my oh my what we heard on the radio was true. All we saw were plumes of smoke flowing out. What was supposed to be a wonderful day for me turned out to be the worst. Lives of inocent people were lost. Thinking to myself who on EARTH could do this. How could they be so heartless?? WHY WHY WHY? I did get to the ultrasound a few min late and view my babies. I couldn't believe what i saw on the way home. THE TOWERS WERE GONE....... My husbad is a volunter firemen in the town we live in. We live 10 miles from the city. His Dept was asked to come over to NY and assist them. He went. I was very scared. As much as i wanted him to go i felt a bit selfish i wanted him to stay with me. But it was his duty to go and help those that were in need. He came home for 4 hours and than was at the site for 8. Broke my heart to see him leave. But in a sense made me happy that he was helping. Still to this day can't believe that it has happend and that the Towers are really gone.
