NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I was a senior in high school, after first period I started to walk to my seconded period class, I turned and looked at the television in the food court, there I saw the first plane on fire. With all the smoke I could not tell what was going on, or what it had hit. I then walked up the stairs to my next class when my boyfriend told me what the plane had hit. I was devistated, I than entered my Government class, that is when we all watched the seconded plane hit the other tower. The first tower collapsed and people were running, jumping out of windows, ems, and fire trucks were distroyed within seconds. Mass hysteria, I was dumb founded, This did not seem real. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has changed in many ways, because of this day, the main thing has been how close to home it hit, but also why people would want to kill themselves, and so many innocent people. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think every thing should be remembered about 9/11/01, because if we forget what has happened, so many people will lost there lives in vain. I also think the american spirt should be remembered. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, I did fly the flag. My feelings however about the flag have never changed about the flag, this flag represents my freedom and that will never change.
