NMAH Story: Story

I was getting ready for school, when my mom called me into the living room to watch the news. She kept calling for me. So, I finally came into the room. She look shocked. I remember her saying "I have no idea what's going on, but something either hit or blew up one of the world trade centers", I sat down and watched with her. When the newscaster finally anounced what had actually happened, my mom was very worried. She sent me to school and told me to keep my cell phone on and with me at all times, just incase something were to happen to me or her throughout the day. I was nervous about going to school, but I went, and luckily nothing happened to me. It was a day I will never forget.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life really hasn't changed all that much, except for when I am flying out of an airport or going to an amusement park, or some other major function. When I do attend these events however, security is extremely tight. But, other than that, I haven't really been affected.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think that people should remember all of the innocent lives that were lost on that horrible day, and take a moment to pay respects when it comes around each year. I also think that people should remember the way that our country came together after that day, and the national pride that we all had.

NMAH Story: Flag

After the events of September 11th, my family hung an American flag on our house and put stickers on our cars to show our pride. My feelings about the American flag have most definately changed, now whenever I see an American flag, I am reminded of that day.
