I was in the car with my now ex-husband when we heard on the radio that the World Trade Center had been hit by an American passenger jet. It wasn't long and we heard the pentagon was hit. We were in shock then I was getting what I needed from inside the gas station as quickly as I could so to get home and turn on the news. My brother-in-law comes in and says that one of the towers collapsed. He is a bit of a kidder so I said "No way you picking that can't happen.". I was wrong it did. I spent the next few days still in shock that all this could happen here in America. I never thought anyone would have enough guts to do that to our country. Many heros died that day and I will never forget the strangest day of my life. The day someone attacked my home. I am very happy people reacted the way they did though. We are all just like brothers and sisters, we fight amongst ourselves but DON'T anyone else pick on our brother or sister then we UNITE and FIGHT.
