I was in my sevnth grade history class. I got up and asked if I could use the restroom. When I left the classroom the halls where sielent. All the classroom on my halls where dark. Even the classroom of one of the hardest teachers on my hall was dark. I used the restroom and returned to class and didnt think much about it. Fifteen minites later I went to my class and thats when I first saw the smoke and flames come from the Twin Towers. The rest of the day we sat around glued to the T. V.

Yes, after 9-11 I have gotten involed with a vounteer fire department explorer post. 343 F.D.N.Y. firefighters died that day. I want to be part of that tight knit brotherhood someday.

Just the amount of people who died that day.

I've always flown an American flag but my respect has incresd for it.
