NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. The morning of September the 11th I got out of bed feeling kind of uneasy. I couldnt really tell why, but I knew something just wasnt right .I really didnt think twice about it ,so I continued getting dreesed and went on about my morning. The first time I had actually heard about it was in my seocnd block athlectics class. A few girls were diccussing it but I really didnt pay too much attention.I then came to realize it was serious during my third block computer applications class. As I entered the classroom my teacher was watching the televison, so in my head Im thinking, wait a minute whats going on?I walked over to my seat, put my things down ,got situated, and focused my attention directly to the televison screen.What I seen was beyond anyhng I had ever experienced in my life(the plane crashing into the twin towers).It was as if we were watching a movie, My mouth dropped. I could feel my eyes widen in disbelief. I wil never forget that one moment as long as I live...Ever. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has chaged in some perspective Since September the 11th.I have so much more appreciation for life. I realize that America has sufferd a tremendous loss, but what some people fail to realize is that things similar to September the 11h happen all the time in many of the Middle Eastern countries. Us as Americans are so fortunate to be where we are and we take that for granted every day. My existance is so much more appreciated now, me just being here is incredible, and I thank GOD for that every day. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? My thoughts on what should be remembered about September 11th are the good things that came out of the whole experience.America has came a long way!!This was a tragic thing to happen ,but the healing process has brought us together and made us realize that we are really blessed-Most Definetly. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? I didnt fly an American flag but we had representation of american flags on our cars, shirts, jeans, posters, screensavers ECT. My feelings on the American flag have not really changed that much.The Flag was just about everywhere (and still is) from the runways to on the cover of cereal boxes so it really said alot about Americans and how much pride we take in our country.Which to me is beautiful!
