NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. My name is Edward Krueger; I live in Houston, Texas. I go to a small school with less than 50 students. I was 13 and in 7th grade on September 11th 2002. At about 8:40 and our class joker entered saying "Hey, Guess what a plane has crashed into to world trade center". Of course no one believed him. He continued to tell us that it was terrorists. There was a haze of confusion. What is a terrorist? What's a world trade center? What is a plane? Other stupid questions followed. One was answered by one of our more knowledgeable class members, he explained: "that a world trade center was a center of world trade". One of the students had hearing problems, she had a receiver head set on and the teacher had a transmitter. The principal called the teacher outside. The teacher came forgetting to take off his transmitter. The principal told him that the towers rely were attacked. The deaf student herd and said "Oh my god". The class crowed around her. The teacher came back in and told us the news. For the rest of the day we looked for news on our laptops and washed TV. Our teacher demonstrated how terrorists would take over an aircraft.
