NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. My account for that day, was absolutely shocking. I was at school at the time I heard what happened and at first I thought it couldn't be real, but when I got home and turned the TV on it was real enough. The next thing that went through my head then is was my Uncle ok. He Lives in New York and frequently goes in and out of the twin towers of the World Trade Centre. Thankfully though he wasn't involved but a friend of his lost some of his friends in the twin towers. History that day was witnessed by me as a day that will always be remembered in my heart. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes My life has changed because of Sept 11. My life has changed because it has made me more appreciative of what I have. Its also made me live life to its best every day because we never know when our day will come that were going to die. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The One thing that should be remembered the most is the number of innocent people who were killed in the twin towers, the pentagon and the number of people who lost their lives on board each of the individual flights. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes I flew an American flag after the event and yes my feelings about the American flag changed. They changed in the way that the flag of the United States is now a strong symbol for freedom.
