We had just switched classes from first to second block at Mansfield High School, when my students came streaming in saying, "Mrs. DeLotto, we need to turn on the television." Of course, I resisted, but they seemed sincere, so I turned the television on. It was just before 9:00 CST. We watched in horror, and I spent most of the time stunned, putting my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? No, I didn't fly a flag, as I felt it was a type of "jump on the bandwagon" movement. I did like seeing the flags people placed in the back of their pickups. (We're in Texas, you know.)
