I witness history on Septemvber 11 by hearing my school principle come over the loud speaker saying," the World Trade Center has been attacked along with the Pentagon and Pennsylvania." I heard the announcement around 9:45am and was very shook by it. The bell rang and went to lunch. All the tv's were on and I was very scared watching people jumping out of windows. During my lunch period I went to call my mom to see if she was ok. I first tried her office phine and there was no answer. I got very nervous that my mom was gone. My mom is a Contracting Officer and she purchases weaponry for the army. I tried her cell phone and reached her and felt good to hear her voice. I told her," mom if they got the Pentagon, they could've gotten the army base." NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. September 11 has affected my life by being nervous everyday about my mom going to work. Everyday I'm relieved to hear my mom's voice on the phone in the morning and seeing her in the afternoon.
