We were in between classes when the second plane hit. Every class had their tv's on. The rest of the day was filled with angry, shock, and sadness. Thats how I witnessed 9/11 NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. In some ways it has but mostly it hasn't. I have always been proud to be an American. The only thing that changed in my life is that I now know that we weren't as safe as we thought we where. I think the people who died like the brave firemen and police officiers who lost there lives to save the people in the World Trade Center. Also the people who help others in a time of need. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes I flew a flag after the attack , but I always had the flag flying. My feelings change a little bit , knowing that that flag was keeping some of the people going.
