I was on the phone with my sister watching the news when I saw the first plane hit Tower 1.. I thought it was an accident.. then the second plane hit and I knew it was no accident.. a colleague came running over that they had hit the Pentagon.. I had a son studying at Fordham University and I panicked hoping he was okay.. i called and called and called and could not get through.. he finally reached me at 10:30 and he was so upset.. he finally came home for good in October as he could not deal with the stress of living in New York City any further..

I will never forget that day as I know thousands will not also.
