rach... thanks so much. i'm fine. my mom went into work today, she got to nyc just as the planes hit. she works in midtown, and
she could see the whole thing from her office window. at school they announced it and everyone was just so shocked... i
couldn't believe it, it's just so incredibly horrible. and now afghanistan has been bombed-- are we in war? it's so scary. mom is at
the apt. in nyc, and doens't know whether or not she should try to get out. there are limited trains going out of the city, and none
going in. all highways have been closed and i've just been watching.
