Rusty:
One of the World Trade Centers just collapsed. I've had enough. This is ghastly. I didn't see it go over, but half the people in my office did, and they are shell shocked.
I hear now that the Chase building up the street was hit. What the hell is going on? I wish I knew.
Try the bus terminal, and if I can't get out I'll head north to the GWB. Don't worry, I'll be OK and I'm well equipped for this.
Funny, I did say a few days ago that it would have been interesting to live through the Blitz...
If you don't hear from me, because the cell phones are blocked, meet me on Rt. 46 westbound. Get as close to the bridge as you can and then turn around and head west. Pull off the road someplace safe, park, and wait for me. It will take me about 4 hours to make make that walk, so be there in about 5 hours, let's say 4 PM just to be safe. If I can catch a bus, of course, I'll walk home.
