Yesterday I walked for blocks to get uptown to a friend of mine who brought me home. We were sitting in a cafe with army planes and helicopters circling - everyone looked horrified - it was like one of those war zones that you see in Time and on CNN. I am devastated. As you can imagine, I have my "butch" hat on. I'm taking this like a tough girl - being strong has never been so dificult.
