Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Eveyrone was talking and joking around as usual on this day. It started out normal.. An announcement was made on the loudspeaker to go to the closest room with a tv. We were all excited, thinking "Hey, we have a free day to watch tv". We were sadly mistaken. By the time we filed into my 8th grade history teachers classroom, we could hear sniffles. We turned to see our teacher had red, sore eyes as though she'd been crying and a terrified look on her face as her eyes stayed glued to the tv. I thought to myself, this might be way bigger than i think.. We watched in horror as a replay of what my history teacher saw was displayed on the news and i was so shocked, i could hardly move. Why would someone do something like that to us. Was it a joke? The idea of terrorism stiffened in my head for the rest of that day. The next day,at school, I noticed people weren't joking and laughing like they had the morning before. They were all strongly affected by what had happened. Though people were hurt that we can never bring back and people suffer now from that tragedy that happened over 3 years ago, America has proven to be the strongest nation in the world. I know that if we were to have Terrorist come back and bomb every state in North America but one, that one state would hold their heads high and make sure justice is served because thats how great of a nation we live in.
