Dear Doug,
Sorry to use this email site, and I hope your company does not mind, but this may be the best way to communicate today.
We were very relieved to hear your voice yesterday; make sure you call your sister in Michigan frequently to chat and sound upbeat.
It may be several days before you are able to get back to your place. You may need to buy clothes, toiletries, supplies, etc. MAKE A LIST OF WHAT YOU NEED AND GET IT.
These will be difficult times for awhile, a test of your resolve. Be strong and trust in God. Just remember; a lot of people have it a lot worse than you do.
Email frequently; send emails to all the family members so this will save your cell time. We got 29 calls yesterday of concern regarding you. It was very supportive.
