**The tragic events today in New York, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania are too horrific to believe. A number of TCN subscribers and personal friends worked in the World Trade Center and there is no word on their fate. My prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.**

**First of all, thank you for those who expressed condolences and concern. By way of background for ten years I worked for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, which was headquartered in the World Trade Center. Since that time I've stayed in touch with many of my former colleagues. I'm happy to report I've heard that many of these people survived. I even had an e-mail from someone who was in the building at the time of the disaster. There are still many others who I've not heard from. In addition to the images and the sounds from television, the tragedy hit home in an unexpected way today as the smell of smoke and a haze reached my hometown of Cranford, New Jersey, some 15 miles away.**
