Colleen...although you and I have never met, you are in my thoughts just now....that's on a personal level....more pertinently however in the circumstances, I am pleased to provide a link between you and Jo and Peg. I phoned Jo at about midnight our time...she is of course pleased (understatement!!!!) that you're OK, and she asked me to send you her love and Peg's. In honesty she sounded 'knackered' (that's extremely tired!!) due I'm sure to her feelings of frustration/anger/concern.... and all accentuated by not being able to make contact with you and her other friends in America.
Jo also asked me to say that she will make contact with you tomorrow....one way or another, if not by phone then through my e-mail service.
I had a couple of beers in my 'local' Pub tonight. The conversation centered around the atrocities that your county has suffered...the collective feelings of my friends are of shock/disbelief of course, and of sympathy and support......and we're angry too!
