Description
This is the sunset from our home on 9/11. My wife, an employee of a major airline, and I were at home with our 5-day old daughter when the broadcast we were watching was interrupted with this life-altering news. Living in Atlanta, we're used to the skies always being filled with planes. This was the first day in my life the skies were empty and silent except for this hunting yet striking sunset.
