This photo was taken by me on 9/22 when I came back to my native city for a business conference the following week. I walked around the streets trying to capture the many emotions which were still painfully fresh. I stayed in midtown, that night a ghost town normally bustling with tourists now barren, and recall how eerie the night air felt. I happened upon this powerful image.
