I had just started working overnights at the newly built Super Target in Minnetonka, Minnesota on Monday September 10th at 10:00 P.M. Our first truck consisted mostly of toys. Getting off work at 6:30 in the morning, my only objective was to get some sleep before my next shift that night. The first report of the first plane brought me out of my attempt to drift off and then the second plane was seen live. Surreal was the only way to describe the day. With little sleep I went back to work that night to another truck load of toys. It seemed appropriate that even though the day changed everything, we still stocked toys. For the children. For the future.
