i was asleep and the phone woke me up. It was my good friend asking me what i was doing. i wanted him to call me back and he told me i had better get up and turn on the tv. a plane had crashed into the world trade center. groggy, i walked down the hall and turned on the tv. i noticed how beautiful it was out. not a cloud in the sky. we were both wondering how the hell a plane would have crashed. i thought maybe the pilot had a stroke or passed out or something like that. then, we see the other plane come in a hit the second building. i hung up with my friend, called my wife and told her to leave work and get home right away.i can say that i have been numb ever since. i cannot understand why it happened. it is coming up on a year. unbelievable.
