Description
This is a rolodex which was recovered in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. While working of the lower setback roof of the Century 21 Building, in the middle of all the debris was this rolodex. Amazing that through all the destruction of that terrible day this artifact remained in untouched except for the grayish soot and ash caked to it. It is believed that it was blown clear on the initial impact from one of the airplanes hitting the World Trade Center. The roof was cleared by a Haz Mat team and there were workers bagging up all the debris on the roof, I asked could I have the rolodex. Unfortuntely, the cards in the rolodex give no hint of what office or company it came from.
