I visited the WTC for the first, and only time in my life on January 1st, New Year's Day 1998 with my sister Joannie who is an artist who lives in the Village. We went to the top, but unfortunately due to the weather that day (it was rather windy), the observation deck was closed, however the gift shop was open and the view from there was spectacular. I've enjoyed photography as a hobby over the years, and I've always enjoyed photographing subjects with strong geometric lines, and this photo of WTC towers from directly between them and looking up was probably my most favorite photo from that trip. On 9/11 I recalled my trip and was thankful that I had had the opportunity to visit the towers.
