It was a beautiful day- my first (and only to date)visit to New York to visit my friend. It was a windy day, but nice out. I did not get a chance to visit the WTC- becuase of time restraints I had to choose between it and the Empire State Building. On 9/11, Christy was not home when we (her family and I) started the franic calling- just to make sure she was ok. We finally found her 6 hours later -ASLEEP- at a friends house. She was 2 subway stops away from the world falling down and she had no idea! I pray every day for the families that have been touched by 9/11- and hug mine everyday.
