I don't remember what street I was looking down but it was about Rector St. My sister worked in the first building on the left. I had gone to NYC because of the 9-11 attack to visit with my sister and her family. On Sept. 11, 2001, I was at home in CO. That morning I woke to the news on the radio. Thinking it was some kind of joke I turned on the TV to the image of the second plane slamming into the tower. Knowing my sister worked just a few short blocks from the trade center and did banking and other business in the buildings, I immediatly started to make phone calls to NYC.
