Description

I took this at about noon on 9/11, looking down the West Side Highway from about 14th Street (as far as we were allowed to go). It was such a clear, beautiful day - you can see how sharp the contrast is in the photo. The West Side Highway is usually cars bumper to bumper. The only traffic that day was people walking north and occasional ambulances or buses full of cops barrelling south.
