September 11 Victim Compensation Fund

Kenneth Feinberg,

Let me get this straight (pun intended)..."United we Stand", so long as one is not gay, lesbian or an unamrried partner.

I understand the difficult psition in which you find yourself, regarding the inclusion of gay, lesbian and unmarried partners in the compensatin fund. However, you know as well as I, and perhaps even better, that he Federal Governemt can establish who shall recieve Federal benefits (i.e., military death benefits, social security, etc..) without "conflicting" with State laws. The Federal Governemet has managed to do this for years, virtually without issue from the State Governments.

Mr. Feinberg, please stand up and do the right thing. There are many people that desreve to be included in the Fund that were in loving gay/lesbian/unmarried relationships which have been devestated by 9/11. Please inlcude these peole in the Fund without regard to there sexual preference or hesitancy to have their very private relationships sanctioned by the State


P.S. In case anyone is keeping count, I am a married, striaght white female professional -- yes, that votes.
