Discrimination is Un-American
For you to not honor the families of gays and lesbians equally with the other
"vicitms" is to continue the ugly abusive discrimination that has kept up
from truly being a great nation that includes all marginalized persons. You
would honor aliens, yet you would not honor the gay and lesbian heroes who
gave their lives to save others. Please take a long hard look at why you are
excluding persons who did not choose to be gay or lesbian, but were born that
way.
Your perpetuation of abuse is unexcusable. Think this through and be
gracious.
