All Americans are created equal

And therefore, should be treated as equals. If nothing else, September 11th taught us that we must stand together - as one - with the same rights and privileges as every other American. And yet, we find that some Americans enjoy more equality than other Americans.

Now is the time to practice what we preach!!!! Let partners of Gays and Lesbians lost in the September 11th tragedy receive the same benefits as all heterosexual and closeted homosexual partners. They had the courage to stand together in life, now give them the help they need to deal with the death of a loved one and continue their own lives.

Please be fair, and stop the discrimination towards the Gay and Lesbian Community.
