I am outraged that you are excluding homosexuals from your benefits. I read the article and I think that it is ridiculious that you are even thinking about dicriminating against gay americans. Those gay americans are just like any of the other heros that risked their lives to help others. They are still heros of 9/11 no matter what their sexual preference is Them being homosexuals doesn't make them any more of a person or hero then the rest of them that were there that tragic day. We should be grateful that they actually helped and risked their lives to save the lives of others and should instead of dicriminating against them, should be praising them for the great things that they have gone for us and the the country. 9/11 woke the whole world and showed us that we need to unite and be a better country but what does it say about us if we dicriminate against people for making their own decisions. Their decision on whether or not to be gay has nothing to do with the rest of us and does not effect our own lives so we should stop being so ignorant and grant these people the same benefits that all the other heros are receiving.
